I began my journey in a family-run food business, eventually leading operations, sales, acquisitions, and global sourcing. Along the way, I travelled the world, formed partnerships with factories across various countries and continents, and built long-term relationships with both customers and suppliers.

Through it all, one thing became clear: business is about people and it starts with yourself.

At OWBC, we believe meaningful growth starts from within. Alongside his decades-long business journey, our founder, Shimshon Merlin, has spent the past seven years deeply immersed in personal development work.

It began with a transformative seminar in Israel—The Possible You—led by Rabbi Yom Tov Glaser, which opened the door to emotional insight, self-awareness, and human connection. Since then, Shimshon has coached in these seminars, introduced the experience to the UK, and recently earned certification through advanced training with Rabbi Cohen.
